R32 Driver Door Handle Wont Open

If not then take the inside handle off and just pull the actual cable.

R32 driver door handle wont open.

So i think the other day that while i was unlocking my car doors i started pulling on the handle as i was unlocking the doors. Any info would be much appreciated cheers. Should open right up then. I tested the switches in the handle it self.

If i am inside the car it will open but nothing from the outside. It won t open no matter what i do less the key and inner handle. If i lock then car using key fob and open the door the alarm goes off. Could also be the outside handle.

Drivers door won t lock using key fob posted in performance and technical. I tried taking the plastic piece off of handle and using the plastic key from the fob but it didnt work. When i go to open from the outside everything unlocks but the driver door won t open. If you need to get in just push in on the door a little and pull the handle at the same time.

Now the driver side door won t open from outside the car. Replace the door handle and problem solved or you can pull the door apart which you will have to do anyways and clean it. The drivers door won t lock using the key fob but if i use the blade it will lock fine. If nothing happens when you turn the knob it s usually because the set screw holding the knob to the rod has worked itself loose. I m thinking on the right track with the latch mechanism. Open the door pull the handle and see if the mechanism moves from outside and inside.

Believe me i looked for days wh. If the bolt moves but not enough to allow the door to open the. To be fair if its a cable problem then the handle from the inside outside will just flap around.
